1 staffing ratio offering specialized services to individuals with mental illness and/or challenging behaviors.
The staff in these homes are experts in utilizing strength-based strategies to promote and reinforce healthy behaviors.
Job duties:
Provide crisis prevention/intervention services to the individuals served.
Monitor the individual(s) supported for symptoms of decline, crisis, medication side effects, and to intervene when necessary.
Incorporate the CSSP and CSSP Addendum into daily interaction with the individuals served.
Assist the individuals served with problem solving.
Maintain complete and professional documentation.
Participate in scheduled and spontaneous recreational events, medical appointments, family events, psychiatric appointments, and other activities of the person's choice.
Maintain clear, open, and honest communication with program management.
Other duties as assigned.
This is a Level 4 home, and all candidates will need to have one of the following qualifications to be considered:
No degree - min.
7 years' experience with positive behavioral supports or, Associates - min.
5 years' experience with positive behavioral supports or, BA - min.
3 years' experience with positive behavioral supports Similar positions:
